I was cycling west along this the Sunday before last approaching the Leeson St junction, which was green for bikes, when three cars went straight through in a southerly direction. Traffic was stopped in the other direction. Luckily no cyclists were crossing at the time. If I had been ten seconds faster, I would have been toast!

Is there an issue here with the visibility of the traffic signals for traffic coming from Leeson St? It was sunny at the time and I think the lights further on at the southern side of the bridge were green.
