I'm on a bus at the moment, upper saloon, and there is this constant high pitched ringing coming from somewhere. It changes key periodically, currently a d minor according to the guitar tuner app on my phone. What is the source? Maybe if I knew what it was it wouldn't be so irritating. Thanks

probably just the sound of junkies talking

Just the loudspeakers reacting to a resonant frequency from the engine and electrics. Obviously, the suppression circuit is not working too well.
