Looks to be some very positive moves being made with proposals for 3e per membership to be ringfenced to implement coaching structures within the AAI in 2019.

If these reports are true its a some much needed good news for the sport and good way of seeing the membership numbers actually being converted into positive developments in the sport.

Hats off to those who have been working towards this

Details on the previous proposal out now.

Looks like some very positive areas for the money to be spent

Saw this, positive enough step, it seems to be alot better route than the pure corporate selling off commercial race spots of the previous CEO. They seem to be trying to create alot of extra full time roles which is great, but what exactly do they mean by say 20k funding which "when matched with existing budgeted funds", any idea what the existing budgeted fund are, in the above example 20k obviously won't go anywhere near the yearly salary of a fulltime employee, it will what, 40k total cost?

+1 there seems to be alot of positive movement.

In terms of the coaching and development funds. I know last year this amounted to E265,000 (which includes 104,000 income generated from course costs etc so net expenditure was E161. This would make sense as the extra revenue generated is roughly just more than double meaning that would meet with the current budgeted expenditure

In the same week Sports Ireland released this
