Went looking on the DB website and I see they have a bizarre method of listing 'General News' which is that the items are in no particular order so don't expect to see recent announcements at the top of the screen.

From the top down, the dates on the items are as follows....

    May 11th
    Apr 26th
    May 2nd
    May 4th
    May 4th
    May 2nd
    May 2nd
May 11th - the 145 timetable revision, it was published today but it's 8th on the list!
    May 11th
    May 11th
    Apr 6th

Yeah I think they seem to be sorting by date of event rather than date of publication, so for example the top 3 news items are for events scheduled to take place over the next few days.

Drivers have a veto on timetable changes?

Not a veto, more of a recommendation.

There have been occasions in the past where drivers were presented with a proposed new timetable by the company scheduler, only to discover that parts of it were actually illegal by breaching working hours.

It was posted on boards over a week ago by a driver so I call B.S. on your claim

What is the internet poster version of above quote?

    whoosh, straight over your head
    last week old bill
    this week new bill
if it changes again, the current bill will become the old bill, and the replacement bill will become the new bill
    anyone else not understand
