    Hi

I'm wondering if someone could give me some advice on this.
Mods please feel free to move this thread, thanks.

I am an Irish national married to a non EU national.
My wife has been living in Ireland approx 10 years now but has not applied for citizenship here yet.
What I'm wondering is can my wife work in the UK ? ie. Can my wife work in London etc. ?

Thinking about moving over but my wife would possibly be moving over first as her area of employment is in strong demand in London at the moment.
    So is this possible ?
Or if not is it possible if we both go over at the same time ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Did you ever get sorted?

I am over here in the UK my wife's Amercian so non EU we were able to get an EEA Family permit for her. You can apply online then you mail everything off the the embassy in Dublin. It should come back in the post in 10 days. Its all free. Once you get to the UK you will have to apply for an EEA residence card for her she will get one and it will be valid for 5 years. Which allows the same rights as we have to work study welfare etc.
