    Meanwhile,

If your a bus driver for a private company at the moment doing tour work, solual outings etc then stay where you are because this is a different job completely.

If you're in a job in another industry already and a safe position with decent pay and work hours , then again stay where you are.

But if you want to start work at 5:40 in the morning and not finish until 5:30pm, while only getting paid for 7-9 hours work then this job is for you ! And as an added bonus you get to drive people around who sometimes disrespect you , treat you terribly and management even like to treat you terribly , then by all means welcome aboard !

I don't get why this is getting so much publicity BE have been hiring drivers on and off for the last 4 or 5 years. Must be a slow news day.

Also why don't BE have a training school like DB. Perhaps a combined BE/DB training school would be a good idea if there is a large demand for drivers over the next couple of years.

They do in Dublin - it's in Broadstone.
