    Hi all,

Would really appreciate some opinions on this.
Have been looking at laptops for my sister. She has a low budget of €350 and does not want to go over that. She's in college and needs it for the basic items - MS Word and chrome browsing being the main things she'll be doing.
CPU performance and storage (SSD) are top of the list, then battery.
She has a chromebook and can't stand it so they're off the table. Also an FYI, she has a €100 one for all voucher so for those retailers who accept those, she's willing to spend 450 including the one for all voucher.

Something like this would be ideal....fast, portable and lightweight.

edit - this was €399 at time of posting but since changed to €500+.

She was looking to spend about 350, so that is probably out.

This is a great deal for €399. You can use the One4All here too.

Yes I was just about to post that one. It is a bit heavier than the other Lenovo posted, but it actually has a better processor. It would be worth saving 50 for I think.

They must have changed all their pricing in the last day or two. That was €399 at the time. The link above doesn't work anymore now either.

Something like this is also good and within the budget since you said she'd spend 450 with the voucher factored in.

yep, not a bad option for the price in a B&M shop and not too heavy for lugging in and out of college.
Asus make probably the best machines at the budget end of laptops imo.
