Difene does not offer relief from acute pain!
I have a really really low pain threshold and will always double sometimes triple dose medications if I am not getting relief, I am sure Im not the only one who does this. While I understand the benefits of NSAIDs and long acting medications surely for acute pain even a couple of days opioid based pain relief would do better at managing the intense pain that comes from issues such as infections or dry socket.

In the past two hours i have now taken 100mg of difene. 200mg of paracetemol, and 50mg of solpadene and I am still in agony.(i am also taking antibiotics as perscribed)
I know that I am putting my health in danger by doing this and that is my responsibility not the dentist who prescribed me 50mg difene x3.
I merely highlight this as to say if you think 50mg of difenex3 daily is effective pain management it is nowhere close!

Medication advice is not allowed on Boards.ie other than to follow the individual professional advice given to you after a clinical examination, & do not exceed dosage instructions.
Return to your dental practitioner for active treatment to target the true source of the pain .

Your listed doses are odd and not standard... Go back to your dentist for advice.....
