    Hi lads,

Black gloss front grill on A4 is gone sort of milky in areas, So it looks like new in parts, milky in sections Im having no luck and its annoying the heck out of me.

Anyone recommend a good product to restore? I might just burn it soon...

If it's gloss black rather than Matte you'll have to polish it up, they can become oxidised due to UV damage or iffy chemicals being used while washing.

It'd be hard to recommend without seeing the extent of it, a hand polish may do the job as machine polishing a grill like that can be futile.

If polishing at all I would advise a hand polish rather than using a machine as it may strip the gloss layer completely.

Will a general polish do? Id have to hand polish it dont think i would get a machine near it.

Have you a picture of the area in question?

Well Glass cleaner from megs has done the trick(Said it was for mirrored surfaces and with gloss finish. Still looks good after 3 days. I gave it a light polish with elbow grease also. Happy days.

    Cheers folks.

Do you take the car to a local car wash?
Might be whatever TFR they use as "foam"
    Try to avoid those chemicals.
