This started last week as BBC's replacement for the Bake Off (with Mary Berry in tow as a judge). I watched the first one today and it was really good. There is a little bit of an Apprentice vibe (they all live in a shared house and some of that is filmed). They could be cooking anything though, which spices this up a little bit.

I think the spirit of the Bake Off is in there though. The judges are encouraging (not mean) and Claudia Winkleman is a good host.

There are 10 contestants so it will be a nice short 8 episode season.

I quite enjoyed the first one- can't bear Claudia but she wasn't too annoying!
