    Hi
We have a 3 month Border Collie. How much walking should he get now.I don't want to damage his joints by walking him too much..He is so energetic.

    not too much at all
difficult I know as collies are lively even at that age ( I have 2 :) ) I would suggest just a few minutes on lead walking a day. If there is a safe enough area for off lead then some more time off lead playing and practicing recalls for treats and toys. There is loads of training bits you can do with a young dog that will help them learn and keep them calm

I highly recommend Kiko Pup for teaching trick and skills

The recommended amount is 5 minutes per month of age til they reach maturity, if you find its not enough to wear him out, make sure and get the brain working too with lots of training, scavenging etc!

how many sessions you planning? I would go with per day and use other time for brain games and playing time.
