Does anyone have any experience with the used car dealer A&J Motors located in Robinhood Lane Industrial Estate?

I am bringing a mechanic to look at a few cars I have my eye on but would like to know what other people's experiences have been buying from this place. An old thread has given me the impression they should be avoided.

    Thanks

Thanks, I get what you mean.

Do you actually know someone who has had a bad experience with them? Id love to have an idea of what to expect

It was slightly tongue in cheek, but that area has a bad reputation for small dealers, some of who were known to import uk cars and be less than truthful with the mileage and/or history! Do a motor check on any vehicle whether import or not and have peace of mind along with a mechanic looking it over. I don't honestly know that particular dealer. Maybe someone else on here has dealt with them.

Thanks very much, I am bringing along a mechanic this evening.

Do not go near this place -a&j motors.. bought a car here 3 weeks ago .. xxxx is a very sweet talker but after buying the car and handing over 9000 euros worth of money.. a mechanic found major faults with the car when I got it checked over.. most worrying for me was the airbags were not working and he used black tape to hide the light signal from showing up.. having a baby and a 6 year old in the car with me.. this was very worrying... other faults included were the turbo leaking oil.. a new battery was needed.. within two days the car wouldnt start
.all this cost be the bones of 1000 to get fixed.. he was very defensive when confronted with all this and his warranty is worth nothing.. please please buyer beware of the xxxxxx
