    hi

not particularly to do with state benefits at all, but I dont know where to put this question. I need to deal with my "local county council" to change my vote.

We moved from another county to Galway, do we have to do some sort of change of county council form or just send the stuff to Galway county council ?

Actually above answers are wrong if you are changing address.
If you are on the register at your old address then the form goes to the council of your old address. They remove you and then forward the details to the new council.

The form linked above is also incorrect (se note 11 on the form). Rfa2 is the form if you have never been registered. If you have been registered at your old address then you use form rfa3, it's also on the check the register site.

THANK YOU. Great information, I did google this, but could not find a straight answer.
This is the informed answer I was looking for, not lads just presuming stuff etc

Had to do it myself recently, ended up calling them because I couldn't make sense of it.
