    Hi,
Just inquiring about how do you apply to become a reader/ scribe for JC/LC. My friends who are snas do it every year, I have sna qualifications myself, just curious how I would go about this.
    Thanks
    Neil.

If you have Garda clearance , contact your local schools and see if they need anyone

As the previous poster said, contact local schools. The pay is not good enough to justify travelling too far to do the job.

As it is critical to the student that you do a good job, it is important that you communicate to the school that you are reliable, punctual and good at managing anxious students. A referee or someone to put in a good word for you would help.

It might be the Learning Support coordinator or the exams secretary who recruits special centre supervisors. They may require someone at short notice, e.g. Broken arm.

It is a very rewarding experience.
