Open case on ebay

    I have a case open on eBay and something strange happened.

    I purchased a coat sold as new which turned out to be used so I sent it back. The seller refuses to refund as he is saying that the coat shows signs of usage so he opened a case to avoid refunding me.

    eBay updated the case saying

    Customer support comments:
    We have sent you an email requesting further information to allow us to investigate your claim. Please provide this information before 08 May, 2018 to assist with the process.

    However I haven't received any email asking for more information and it doesn't seem possible for me to add information on the dispute page.

    Did anyone ever have this problem with eBay ?

    Indeed, but even eBay are not helping by saying they sent me an email asking for details while in reality they haven't

    turned out that that message was for the seller even though strangely, I could read it so it appeared that I was being asked for more information

    Anyway, ebay solved the case quickly in my favor thank god
