    Ok to run a 6kw 26amp single phase kiln on standard household electrics?

    just wondering whether that's too much for typical domestic power setup? Anything I need to know or check first?
    I know almost nothing about this stuff so any helpful info would be great

    Yes. It's fine.

    But you'll need a 32amp socket and associated calling and protective device.
