I have a 2005 VVTI Corolla 200k on the clock now, it gets regular services, it was one of the last of the 1.4VVTis hence it doesn't burn any oil.

Car is running like a dream, however these days on occasion it takes 3-5 seconds of twisting the key before it will start, however it never fails. This happens at random, sometimes first thing in the morning, can happen at random during the day.

Battery and starter are perfect, full power when starting, started first twist in 0.5seconds during the snow in March even every time.

I have changed spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, battery leads are all good

Any ideas ?
