Hi we are looking to get planning permission however the council are advising that they are not allowing anymore Septic Tanks in the area and connecting to the public sewer is way too expensive as we are a good bit away. It is a family site so really want to build on it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can get around this or anyway other waster water treatment systems. They are afraid of pollution to the local water I think.

are you within an aquifer zone?

sounds like you need local professional advise based on site specific information.... as there are loads of different factors here.

Do they not allow septic tanks, or on-site waste water treatment systems?
