Following up after sending in cv

Hi, I sent my cv in for a position a couple of weeks ago. On the job spec it said that interviews would be the week after next. I’ve heard nothing back from them. Is it worthwhile emailing hr to see if I’m getting called or is it best to just leave it and if I don’t get called, I don’t get called. Thanks

Leave it another 2 weeks. Then follow up if there's no word. They should at least send a rejection by then.
