Anyone any experience with these? How well did they work? It will be going into a back door directly off my kitchen so am a bit weary of draughts. Obviously I know they'll let draughts in when dog coming/going but when closed in general, are they draughty or airtight?

I had a normal dog flap in our kitchen years ago - it would just swing etc (u could lock it if needed) and honestly never noticed any draft etc

We have one for a small dog, I dont notice any draft and it doesnt tend to swing when not in use. They are really good though for letting the dog in and out when we are not there - would be lost without it!

We have one for the cat, fitted in the utility room door. It doesn't flap in the breeze generally but if the wind is on that side of the house, sometimes it can be a bit strong for the flap to close after the cat comes in so there would be some movement then. Thankfully this is a rare occurrence. There can be a slight draft but as it's in the utility room, it doesn't bother us. I'm not sure if it would if fitted to a main room door.
Having said that, we're all delighted with it & dont miss the 4am in/out yowls at all!
