    Just happened to be thinking of this today. While I know it happened in Scotland and parts of Northern England did it effect here or did we manage to avoid it.

    Only seeing this thread now.

    The newspapers seemed to say so but as far as we can see from reports and pictures along with the Met Éireann agrometeorological bulletin for June 1975, we didn't record snow (mountains would obviously be an exception in such a setup).
