We have previously been advised that we are not able to connect to high speed broadband and signed up with sky for 12 months 2 or so months ago. On s peaking to our neighbour we share a telephone pole he has said he has it and we should be able to get it too. My other half phoned Eir they won't connect us because we are with sky. And sky don't connect people so we will have to wait until our contract is up and go back to Eir. This is wrong on so many levels talk about a monopoly. How do we get connected. There was a mistake with our postcodes they aren't recognised as in viable area but we are. If anybody ca help. Thanks

Sky choosing not to sell it does not a monopoly make.

There are 8 providers offering FTTH on OpenEirs network.

All listed with a green house logo here: http://fibrerollout.ie/rollout-map/where-to-buy/

Your provider choice was poor, there's nothing you can do about that now. But you can shop between those 8 providers, when your contract is up.

You could always have picked a provider, that offered you more choice or options, if you'd done a broader research.
