Want to plumb an outdoor tap using PVC piping, just wondering how to join the pipe to the tap?

Buy a kit. I did. Worked a treat.
Hardest part was the super long drill bit.

did this recently, any plumber/hardware shop should have it. Yoiu can also buy the parts seperatly if you have started. Nice thing i got with the kit was a "self tap" connecting that broke into the existing pipework without having to split the pipe and install a t-joint
