is this fibre optic cable or just normal PSTN cable?

    hello , we have this coming out of the pavement a few yards up the road and it looks like its work in progress but can anyone tell me if it looks like fibre optic cable (be a little bit excited if it is) or just normal PSTN wire do you reckon?

    word written on the cable is 'FTFPF Cable'

    Thats a duct, not a cable. Most likely for fibre.

    thank you for the reply - ah right , just ducting. Interesting. Suppose I will have to be patient and see what they are going to do with it.

    we are about 1.5km away from the cabinet, would that have any baring on whether it would be for fibre optic or not?
