Is it legal to have a truck speedometer reading faster than it actually doing eg truck doing 80km actually doing 73km, the company says it ok. The truck tacho head reading right speed and mileage done but the speedometer is reading wrong speed and mileage done. There is a lot of truck in company all the same problem

Speedometers are required to never show a speed less than actual speed

Speedometer don't read mileage - that's the odometer. It should indicate actual distance travelled.
