The box should work fine if you have a sky dish installed already and have a cable from the lnb to the Revez box you also need a cable from an aerial for Saorview.
The box come pre programmed for UK channels but you have to do a search for the saorview

    What problem are you having?

You should have 4 cables, mains, Hdmi, from back of the box to TV, sat cable, from dish to unit, with screw on type connection and rf cable from aerial, with regular TV aerial plug.

28.2 is where the Sky channels come from. No longitude needed.

What was coming from your dish, before you connected the Revez?

    I've no idea

    Also what LNB frequency
    Transponder

LNB Freq 9750-10600, if you have that option.

Transponder. Each satellite has dozens/hundreds of transponders. Focus on the satellits(s) listed at 28.2. The box should then scan each transponder in turn. If you are getting "failed", does the scan continue?

    No scanning does not continue

    Signal quality 10%

And you have the cable from the dish connected to the LNB-in/satellite-in port on the box?

    Yes into the LNB port

Your dish is skewed and not focussed on 28.2E. You will have to slowly turn it to 5 o'clock and see if the signal gets stronger. You should be getting 80-90% intensity and 80% quality , although quality will work at lower %.

You refer to the dish as a 'Sky satellite': do you know for sure it was used for reception of Sky TV, & not some foreign service?

Well, you can, but ideally you'll need a family member nearby to tell you if the signal is improving. If that's not feasible, You should get an installer.

Right. Might be worth looking at this site.

Enter your location, & '28.2E ASTRA 2E' etc., & hopefully if you get a good image for your location, & a convenient landmark to look at, you should be able to tell if the dish is aligned on 28.2 east, or maybe say 13 degrees east, to give an example of where foreign services can be found.
