No foundation for steel shed?

    Hi,
I'm living in rented accommodation and I'm looking to put a shed in the back garden. Ideally a 12x10 or 10x10 foot steel shed would be perfect.
The LL is fine with this, but not with laying a concrete slab. Personally I'll probably be buying my own place in the next 2/3 years too, so I wouldn't want to invest in that, and I'll be bringing the shed with me when I move out.

The back garden is about 3" of course gravel over a layer of weed control fabric and surrounded by 8' brick walls.

Is there any alternative for concrete, or any other base I could use?

I guess in theory there's nothing to stop you from putting it up on blocks or something, but to the best of my knowledge most (if not all) steel sheds don't have a floor so that might be awkward.

You could perhaps try to make a base from some blocks and plywood or osb or something but it would be less than ideal. Trailer board perhaps if you wanted to spend a bit more and have a neater solution?

OSB on concrete patio slabs (on sand on weed fabric)?

There are timber framed steel sheds available that don't need a concrete slab but can be put on blocks instead, they also come with a floor (and are supposed to be much less drippy than pure steel sheds)
