I’m looking at getting a pizza oven for the garden. Has anyone any suggestions on this or should I just stick with the BBQ?

Check out the Uuni 3, I got mine via Amazon + Parcel Motel

Reasonably cheap, produces great pizza also.

    Burns wood pellets

    Thanks matban,

Just checked it out there. Not sure I’d be mad on the steel finish, but looks like it does s good job on the cooking.
Mind if I ask what you paid incl delivery?

It was £199 + €9 parcel motel oversize rate

£20 for a bag of pellets
€20 for a blow torch which helps with lighting

It’s not a beautiful garden feature, and it takes a bit of skill to master, but it produces a good pizza and is portable

    That cost isn’t too bad.
In terms of cooking, so you need specific pellets or can you just use wood.
Also how long does it take for a standard fresh 12” pizza?

    Thanks

You need the proper pellets, there are other Uuni models that burn different fuels.

Pellets are made from compressed saw dust, they burn hot & quick

Pizza takes about 3-4 minutes, takes me about 20 mins to get the oven up to the right temperature.

I also have the uuni 3 and highly rate it.

They have added a gas burner option now too, which I’ve bought but haven’t used yet.
