Nissan Connect, problems setting up

    Bought a 2 yr old X Trail this week. Downloaded the Nissan Connect app and set up an account. Using a galaxy S6 and it works fine for calls over bluetooth in the car.

    Its not letting me connect to use the apps. When I log in to the Nissan Connect website it says there's 2 years complimentary membership available, but when I try to activate it i'm told that it hasn't worked & please try again later.

    Is the 2 years complimentary use only available to the first owner from new?

    Could it be a problem with your app / registration as opposed too a problem with the car?
