Best bet is to ring the manufacturer, must of then have offices in Ireland that will organise replacement parts for you. As long as you know model number it should be easy . Prices would vary massively depending on the brand

Yeah, there are parts websites. You just need the model number. I recently replaced a door shelf. Didn’t buy the make of the manufacturer, bought a knock off which is every bit as good for half the price.

Search on amazon or other sites for parts that fit.
The difference in price between official parts is massive!

www.buyspares.co.uk is a super website. Recommend highly.

I know, I was shocked. I paid €38 inc. delivery for the shelf I bought. The official part with delivery would have been something like €75-€80! And seriously, the one I bought is good and sturdy.

    OP, I ordered from ransomspares.co.uk. That’s not a misprint, it’s ransom not random. :)

Bring it along to a WEE recycling site and see what you can find?

Btw I was expecting this thread to be about interesting things found lurking in the bottom of your freezer drawer amongst the loose peas and ancient almost empty bags of chips.

Freezer drawers? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks! There's four places. There's the Freezer Hut, that's on third. There's Freezers-R-Us, that's on third too. You got Put-Your-Ice-There. That's on third. Swing Low, Sweet Freezer... Matter of fact, they're all in the same complex; it's the freezer complex on third.

Mod note: I'm closing this for a wee while and moving it to Home Appliances which is probably a better forum for answering the query. Please note on a new forum, posting rules may differ from AH

Recycling centres don't allow scavenging. And your chances of finding a match are probably so slim that it's not worth it.
