    For those of the certain age Monkey was the greatest tv show ever made at that time.


    Dropped on Netflix today.
    The new series follows a young monk, escorted by a group of gods, on a journey across an ancient and fantastical land now ruled by evil demons to collect lost scrolls of wisdom.

    Feels like an Hercules or Xena. So far not bad, but still remember and prefer the original.
    The accents though for me are a hug negative, even if the story has been twisted a bit to bring it up to date.
    Did I mention the accents...
