Has anyone ever seen this bottle before? On the Whiskeyauctioneer site? Thinking of making a bid........ or the connamara bog oak its seems unusual too.

First remember U will have to pay fees and shipping and obviously convert sterling to euro. I use a rough rule of thumb that these will add 50/60% to your nominal bid ---say 100 sterling will cost U 160 euro (roughly).

Second these are limited issues, especially the greenore. Unless U are a specialist collector, they may not be worth getting. Certainly as an investment I would be cautious.

This is an interesting facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/irishwhisky/ Also worth looking at Celtic whiskey's list https://www.celticwhiskeyshop.com/irish-whiskey-home-page

Willing to pay up to 400 sterling plus commission 10%, got great advise from a top guy in Teeling ex Cooley, this bottle is like hens teeth. Hopefully I will get it for much less. I have often bought from whisky auctioneers they are the best value around, would not go near McTears because of the point you made. Ps I am a collector/flipper.

Thanks for the links and info.
