I was thinking about former presenters on Lite FM / Q102 now on other radio stations. This is the station which started in Dublin in 2000 and relaunched / rebranded as Q102 in 2004.

Here is what I came up with so far.

Radio Nova: Liam Quigley (Lite FM) and Marty Miller (Q102)

4FM: Jim McCabe (Lite FM) and Suzanne Kane (Q102)

East Coast FM: Tommy Greene (Lite FM / Q102)

South East Radio: Dave Redmond (Lite FM / Q102)

Radio 1: Michael Comyn (Lite FM) and Niall Toner (Lite FM)

QRadio, Northern Ireland : Robert Walshe, MD (Lite FM)

    Tipp FM: Dave Harrington (Q102)

    98FM: Steven Cooper (Q102)

Today FM: Bob Conway (Lite FM)

Can you think of others? I know there are the likes of Hugh O'Brien, Mike Maloney, Gerry Wilson and Mark Byrne, but I am thinking of people still involved in radio.

Of those last four you mentioned, after Bob Conway, when/where do you last remember hearing them?

Bob Conway is no longer filling in on Today FM. He regularly is on East Coast FM.

What was the original line up on Lite FM?

Hugh O’Brien – a couple of years ago on Christmas FM.
Mike Maloney and Gerry Wilson – Christmas FM last year
    Mark Byrne – 4FM in December 2010

What was the original line up on Lite FM?

Liam Quigley was the weekday breakfast presenter and Mike Maloney was the weekday lunchtime presenter. Other presenters in the original lineup included: Hugh O'Brien (weekends), Bob Conway (weekends), Robert Walshe (weekends), Scott Williams (still with the station and now its CEO), Al Dunne (evenings), Dave Redmond (left for a while and came back again before leaving again - initially weekends), Neil O'Shea (presenter of Lite Jazz), Niall Toner (presenter of Lite Country) and Michael Comyn (weekends). I can't remember who exactly was on mid-mornings (Scott Williams maybe?) and I can't remember who presented the drivetime slot. I am pretty sure I have forgotten some of the original presenters.

Weekdays on Lite FM from memory were Scott Williams on mid mornings (9am-12pm?). Michael Comyn did fill in for him on occasions, as did Al Dunne and Vere Wynne Jones.

From 12?pm until 4pm it was originally Mike Moloney, and Robert Walshe did Home Easy from 4pm to 7pm. Himself and Mike swapped slots later on.

They were good old days when Life FM started up, and Q102 in its infancy.

A totally different station back then for the better. Great line up before radio became crowded in Dublin. Cant believe its nearly 20 years ago now..
