Hyundai i30 heater matrix

I have a 2009 Hyundai i30, 1.6 diesel. This week I've had issues with coolant loss, lack of heat from the dash and then coolant leaking onto the driver's side footwell.

Just wondering if anyone has swapped out the heater matrix in one of these. It looks like a dash removal job, anyone any ideas of how long this could take or any shortcuts?

    Thanks in advance.

Throw in a can of radweld and shift her on...

I was tempted to do that, but I'd rather do a permanent job.

It is a dash-out job alright.
