Anyone having problems over the last few days with eir broadband in d15.

Ive gone from 7ms to 1sec ping times

Download has dropped from 80Mbps to 65Mbps

Speedtest for some reason is finding a vodafone server as nearest. No eircom server in the list

    Line goes down regularly

    Any ideas?

Open a command prompt and enter:
    tracert rte.ie

Post results here. If you want to anonymise it take out the IP/hostname from the second row.

Something up between Eir and their peers. Their NOC will know about it but they don't make announcements for degradation only complete loss of service.
