Can only connect to MSN

    Hi I came into the possession of an Acer inspire in a clear out. It's running Microsoft XP.
    Thing is it connects to my modem but MSN is the only site I can browse. It won't work on any others.
    I've googled the problem and followed several lots of instruction to get it to work but no luck.
    I'm not tech savvy so could any kind person on here explain to me in simple English what's going on and if there is a fix. Thanks

    Many companies block access to their website from people on XP as it is dangerous to be running XP.

    No, Google specifically blocks anyone using XP from mail.google.com, drive.google.com and https://www.google.com, you may be able to get to http://www.google.com if it still exists but I think they discontiued it.

    type https://1.1.1.1 into the address bar and see if it connects
