    Hi,

I was offered a place on the Professional Master of Education Programme to become a Primary School Teacher. I have also applied for a Marketing Masters. Which would be the better career choice?

From what perspective? Money/work life balance/ etc? Depends on what is important to you.

I would love both. To make good money, a good work/life balance. Most of all to be happy in the job really and not too much stress

Primary Teaching - 2 Year Masters, Hard to get a job after, have experience

Marketing - 1 Year Masters, A little easier to get job, do not have much experience

Not at all hard to get a job after in primary at the minute. Very stressful. I’m sure most jobs are a bit stressful though. Best advice I could give would be to do work experience if possible as impossible to know which you would like in reality (versus your idea of the career in you head).

Edit: sorry I see you have teaching experience so I would get experience in the other sector also to compare. Be aware of pay for new teachers also which is poor at the moment.
