Need some advice here, I’m quite wound up.

I was on Disability Allowance from September 2008 to February 2017 and this entitled me to a medical card. I left that job and was on Jobseekers Allowance for 6 weeks between September and October 2017.

Now my medical card is up for renewal and they are saying my most recent claim was for less than a year and I am not entitled to apply for the retention scheme. Where can I go with this? I cannot pay €134 a month for my medication and €50 to see my doctor so right now it looks like I need to either stop taking my medication or leave my job.
