My wife recently moved to Ireland with me and she wants to work at childcare, take care of children and etc. Since we are not familiar much with Ireland laws and what to do, can someone of you point here where she needs to apply so she have rights to work there. Does she need to go to full college or she can only pass some certification or what? Thank you everyone.

First question to ask would be does she have any relevant qualifications for working in the early years. There are now minimum qualification levels required to work in early years settings.

Minding kids at home is another kettle of fish though.

That's my question same what qualification are required for everything related with work in early years. She does not have college or anything related with childcare.

If it is in your own home contact Childminding Ireland www.childminding.ie.
If she wants to work in a creche or playschool the minimum qualification is a Fetac L5 award.
Qualifax.ie will have a list of the places running the course.
