Install the AA app on your phone and log in with your membership details. Look for the Fuel Saving menu option and it will generate a unique QR code. Refuel at a Topaz/Re.Store station and present the QR code to get 4c per litre off the price of petrol/diesel.

It will work until the end of June.

Not a massive saving (€1.20 off 30l of petrol), but it all counts.

Yep have the actual fuel card meself.
Been using it for about a year now.
Save about €4 a month.
Makes my membership only €15 a month for me and the missus.
I'd say they,ll extend the 4c off again hopefully .

I signed up with AA Fuel cards for free (not an AA member) donors pure savings for me.

What's even better is that there is a cheap station next door to the topaz so I get Diesel for 1.16 a litre and petrol 1.23

It has to be a Topaz Re.Store.
It will not work in a Topaz station with a non Re.Store shop.

Tried it in Topaz Little Island Cork and they won't accept it.
It did work in Douglas village station but the barcode reader would not work so the shop assistant had to get the old calculator out and give me 4c off

Topaz fuel is always 4c to 6c more expensive than my local Applegreen but with the 'Miles' fuel maybe it's a better fuel. But you need this 4c off just to be the same price as other stations so not sure it's worth it.

Just a buyer beware rant really!

The two Topaz I pass most days are the same price as the Applegrren and Top I see a few times a week.

Well worth getting the groupscheme card to save the 4%.

The only Topaz's I use the fuel card at are not restore. They centra/daybreak. And they either the same as other garages or cheaper so 4c off saves a good bit.

Are you sure it works with the app as per OP?
It may work with the fuel card but the app explicitly stated that it is Re.Store only

Didn’t work in the one I went into until one of the girls said it had to be put thought as a card payment to get the discount off then, I was paying cash so could have highlighted the issue.

Think it’s more a staff training issue in most stores, or as someone else suggested an ‘I D ten T’ error.....

I used it in Carlow yesterday morning (Topaz/Re.Store on the Dublin Road). Worked fine there.
The unleaded price was 1.41, so the discount took it down to the price of other petrol stations.

I didn't even know that the app had a 'fuel card' so will be giving it ago next time I fill up.
