    Hi,

I have a mortgage with BOI and I'm just wondering if I overpay on my mortgage during the first 5 years can I still get the 1% cash back after 5 years? This isn't very clear on website.

"The Loan originally drawn down less scheduled repayments must still be owing on the fifth anniversary of the draw down date" Can you just state if this means I can overpay or not? It should be a yes or a no, it shouldn't be a complicated question.

    Hi there,

thanks for coming back to us.

We've just checked this with our Mortgage Specialists and they have come back to say, provided some of the Mortgage is still owing in 5 years a customer can qualify for the additional 1% cash back.

    We hope this helps,

    Thanks again,
    Jane.
