With all the options out there these days - has the gas boiler had its day ?

In a new fit out - how can a gas boiler be justified

Does it remain a cheap option ?

Why are people still going for gas for heating ?

It’s harder to mess up a traditional fuel source installations.

Lack of policing leads to many types of installations not working but with newer technology’s often being replaced with simpler gas or oil boilers at great expense.

The aftercare for new technologies can be hard to find.

Sites are now moving away from gas and oil and leaning towards air to water heat pumps which backs up your point.

If the level of installation quality overall were the same gas and oil would have a harder job to stay relevant but that is not the case yet.
