    Hi guys

I'm currently in my final year and have been offered a good internship albeit unpaid.

I'm currently on BTEA but I'm over 25 and therefore not eligible for the new incarnation of JobBridge

My question is will I have to come off social welfare when taking the internship?

    Cheers

technically yes as you won’t be available to work if the social ask you are you actively looking.

A friend of mine was offered an internship like yourself. He argued with them over pay and stood his ground and they agreed to pay him.
