Hoping one of the good folks of the motors forum can offer some advice here. My dad has just recently bought a 161 Lexus CT200h and then tried to register it on 'My Lexus'. He got the car itself registered, however he can't get the multimedia system registered. He's gone through the steps to connect his phone to the car by bluetooth, then the instructions say to go into the menu on the car's computer and go to settings->navigation->connected services. The problem is, there is no "connected services" option there.

We've checked all the other menu options just to make sure it's not hidden somewhere else and it was a typo on the MyLexus website, but it's nowhere to be found. Has anyone else run into this problem, and did you manage to get it fixed?

Have you enable tethering on the mobile? I've never had any joy doing that via Bluetooth so may be easier to create a WiFi hotspot on the phone and connect via that.

https://www.lexus-tech.eu/qrg/pdf/lxs/en/Lexus-qrg-en.pdf pretty good step by step instructions there

I've tried tethering on the phone with Bluetooth and a Wi-Fi hotspot but the car doesn't seem to want to connect to either.

Thanks for the info booklet, I'm going to have a look through that and see if there's something we might have missed.
