My Landlord

Recently installed new boilers and pumps for all the tenants upstairs. A couple have recently moved in and are having issues!! The cold supply is not feeding the toilet, hand basin or shower.

The landlord is old and i try to fix things around the house where possible. To help the pump start i closed all the shut offs, I opened the connections just above the pump and had no luck. I then opened the shut offs and slowly loosened the cold out connection, and bam the pump!! kicked on and water was working perfect.

In the last week however, The problem has come back ( no cold supply )??. I opened the out connection to the bathroom slowly and it started working fine for a few days!.

Im not a plumber so would any of you good folk have any ideas as to why the cold water is not flowing correctly

( I have taken pictures so you can see or judge the issue?)
