This is my old 'good' mountain bike - but I haven't ridden it in some years. It's been hanging in a dry garden shed, so it's got some dust and cobwebs, the tyres are flat, the chain could do with some oil and I guess the shocks might need a service.

But, it's all LX & XT components. Fox shocks front and rear. Maxxis tyres, hydraulic brakes, etc etc. Was considered pretty light in its time.

I expect a few hours in good hands and it'd be a good bike again. Rather than send it to a skip, I thought I'd see if anyone wants it.

    Collection only (of course), Deansgrange.

I'll take it. PM your details. Been meaning to get a bike for work. This would suit fine.

Full sus as a commuter? I'd recommend to reconsider :)

As much as I'd love to take and restore it, I simply have no place to keep it.

If it's still available, I'll give it a good home :)

    Thats pretty cool.

If the above falls through I'll give it a good proper home. It's not a commuter bike and deserves better. :)

James007 has first dibs (fastest fingers first).

James, please PM me today. If nothing heard, moves down the line to Gorteen at 0900 tomorrow (I'd quite like to move it out of the shed!)

I can have it collected tonight by a friends son who is in need of replacement transport due to tea leaves, so if you get no joy of it moving from your shed pm me and it will be collected

Happy to give you 100 yoyo's for this, my young lad is getting into downhill racing, and I'd like to get something just to brink him along on trials. full suspension wouldn't be great for commuting or school runs, waste of full suspension. thanks
