    Hi

Has anyone in receipt of Invalidity Pension taken up volunteering for a few hours each week.

What information was needed to be given to the social welfare.

Was approval or not straight away.

Was it worth applying for or did it just cause problems with your pension.

Any information or help would be much appreciated.

    Thank You!

hi i am applying for invalidity pension and I am wondering do I need to attach mine and my husbands bank statements. I am not applying for an increase for my children or my husband, I am only applying for the invalidity pension for myself.... So what bank statements do I need to send with application form??????

if you are getting Invalidity Pension you cannot do more than 19.5 hours of voluntary work per week. If you are getting Illness Benefit or Disability Allowance, there is no limit on the number of hours per week you can work unpaid as a volunteer.

If you have your bank statements in your own name I would just attach those as the application is in your own name only. I don't think your husbands is relevant but if they are I'm sure they will get in touch for you to send them on!
