Morning. Can you tell me how you were first diagnosed? Was at doc on call last week and on checking my urine he did a finger prick test which showed 12.9 ànd he said I was diabetic. Go to my Dr and he says I am not. Based on 2 glucose tests within last 12 months. My wife says that a glucose tolerance test is not the modern…

Morning.

Can you tell me how you were first diagnosed?

Was at doc on call last week and on checking my urine he did a finger prick test which showed 12.9 ànd he said I was diabetic.

Go to my Dr and he says I am not. Based on 2 glucose tests within last 12 months.

My wife says that a glucose tolerance test is not the modern way of checking..

Any thoughts please?
