    Hi
I’m invoicing for haulage which is subcontracted from another haulage company. The vat rate is still 23% isn’t it? It’s not like RCT in construction industry.
The goods carried have nothing to do with construction industry.

    Thanks

Where does the haulage start from?

If the goods have nothing to do with the construction industry then rct does not apply and the vat rate is 23%.

However if the service is b2c the place of supply is where the transport begins ie he place of departure, if it is b2b the place of supply is where the customer is established.
