Mazda 6 2004, power loss when heated up

I recently changed the plugs because the car was losing power and shuddering once it heated up. It drives a lot better, starts quicker until it reaches operating temperature.

It still however gets very rough and loses power after about 10-15 minutes of driving, this only lasts a mile or two and is OK for another while and then comes back.

Any ideas what to look at?

Pure guess but maybe a hose starting to crack?
    Any smell from engine bay?

When car is at operating temp, stop and let it idle.
Using a spray bottle of clean water spray around the hoses and listen for a change in idle.
You can also squeeze the hoses (not recommended while engine is running).

Also do the usual, clean throttle body, EGR and MAF etc as it applies to your engine. At that age it probably need it anyway ;)

If you have a diag scanner you should check for any codes that might be in system, even if you don't see an engine light on.

Thanks for the tips, will try hoses first and clean the MAF, there's no odd smell from engine. I'm guessing it's a fuel/air issue
